Chemical Name:   Tallow amine Polyethylene Glycol Ether

Trade Names:  KETALO 2

Introduction:

Tallow amine Ethoxylates are nonionic surfactants which are such as all kinds of other nonionic surfactants mixtures varying in the number of repeating ethoxy groups. The digit which is appeared after the name of KETALO shows the average number of ethylene oxide units in the Tallow amine Ethoxylates molecule. For example, KETALO-15 means a Tallow amine molecule which is reacted with average fifteen molecules of ethylene oxide.

Due to the amine group in these products, low-mole ethoxylates are cationic in nature; higher-mole ethoxylates exhibit typical nonionic characteristics such as cloud point and compatibility with anionic surfactants.

General Applications:

KETALO 2 is a low ethoxylated tallow amine, which is used as synergistic thickening agent, co-emulsifier, dye transfer inhibitor, corrosion inhibitor, Neutralizer, Dispersing agent, emulsifier, chemical intermediate and wetting agent. This compound gives alkalinity to the formulation and functions both in acidic and alkaline media.

Ethoxylated tallow amines are employed in household and industrial cleaners, paint, resin, textile, metalworking, agriculture, leather and petroleum industries.
