Chemical Name:

Oleic Acid Polyethylene Glycol Ester

Trade Name:

KEOL

Introduction:

Oleic acid Ethoxylates are nonionic surfactants which are such as all kinds of other nonionic surfactants mixtures varying in the number of repeating ethoxy groups. The digit which is appeared after the name of KEOL shows the average number of ethylene oxide units in the Oleic acid ethoxylates molecules. For example, KEOL-15 means an oleic acid molecule which is reacted with average fifteen moles of ethylene oxide. Due to the reaction of Fatty Acid ethoxylation, all kinds of fatty acid ethoxylates are mixtures of Monoester, Diester and free polyethylene glycols.

General Applications:

Oleic acid Ethoxylates are used in a wide variety of applications; they have been developed for use as agricultural nonionic surfactants which are used as HLB variable in emulsifiable and suspension concentrates and other pesticide formulations. They are also used as textile auxiliary or as emulsifier or lubricity additives in metal working industry.
