Chemical Name:

Glycerin Polyethylene Glycol Ether

Trade Name:

KEGL

Introduction:

Glycerin Ethoxylates are nonionic surfactants which are such as all kinds of other nonionic surfactants mixtures varying in the number of repeating ethoxy groups. The digit which is appeared after the name of KEGL shows the average number of ethylene oxide units in the Glycerin Ethoxylates molecule. For example, KEGL-10 means a Glycerin molecule which is reacted with average ten molecules of ethylene oxide.

General Applications:

Glycerin Ethoxylates are used in a wide variety of applications; they have been developed for using as wetting agent and solublizer in formulations. They also could be used as a cross-linking agent for polyesters or polyurethanes.
