-Ethoxylated fatty acids, ethoxylated castor oils and ethoxylated esters are used in paper processing as lubricant and emulsifier.
-For de-inking of the recycled paper, ethoxylated fatty amines, ethoxylated fatty alcohols and ethoxylated nonylphenols are also applied.
– Ethoxylated fatty alcohols are rewetting agents to improve absorbency of wet-strength paper.
-Ethoxylated fatty amines are also wetting agents, stabilizers and emulsifiers in the paper industry.
-Nonylphenol ethoxylates are used in de-lignification of wood in paper processing.
-Polyethylene glycols with molecular weights ranging from 200 to 1000 are effective wetting agents and plasticizers to prevent from drying and cracking of wood and it also maintain wood flexibility. This helps manufacture of high-quality furniture.
