Nonionic surfactants have wide varieties of applications in oil & gas industry. They can be used in drilling fluid additives, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, emulsifiers, demulsifiers or emulsion breakers, foaming agents, biocides and solvents. Their role is to ensure proper wetting, emulsification or demulsification, dispersing processes and foaming stability.
-Ethoxylated 2-ethylhexanols are employed in drilling fluids and demulsifiers.
-As wetting agent, ethoxylated 2-ethylhexanols and ethoxylated fatty alcohols are used.
-Ethoxylated castor oils, ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oils, ethoxylated sorbitan mooleate and ethoxylated glycerols are also applied as lubricant in multiple branches of oil and gas industry such as drilling fluids.
– Ethoxylated castor oils, ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oils, ethoxylated sorbitan mooleate, ethoxylated glycerols and ethoxylated fatty alcohols are proper emulsifiers in oil and gas related chemicals.
-Among different nonionic surfactants offered by our company, ethoxylated fatty alcohols and Ethoxylated 2-ethylhexanols are recommended foaming agents in drilling fluids.
