Introduction:
Coco amine Ethoxylates are nonionic surfactants which are such as all kinds of other nonionic surfactants mixtures varying in the number of repeating ethoxy groups. The digit which is appeared after the name of KECA shows the average number of ethylene oxide units in the Coco amine Ethoxylates molecule. For example, KECA-20 means a cocoamine molecule which is reacted with average twenty molecules of ethylene oxide.
General Applications:
Coco amine Ethoxylates are used in a wide variety of applications. They have been developed for use as emulsifier in metal treatment formulations, emulsifier in oil additive formulations, textile auxiliary or as intermediates to produce quaternary ammonium salts.
KECA with high HLB could be a great nonionic emulsifier. It finds applications in leather and textile processing aids, paints, inks, cosmetics, petroleum products, synthetic fiber manufacture and production of paper and plastic products as emulsifiers, dispersants, wetting agents and dye leveling agents. It is miscible with cationic and anionic surfactants and used as adjuvant in pesticide and herbicide formulation.
KECA is stable in acidic and alkaline media.
