Tallow Amine Ethoxylates
Tallowamine Ethoxylates are nonionic surfactants which are such as all kinds of other nonionic surfactants mixtures varying in the number of repeating ethoxy groups. The digit which is appeared after the name of KETALO shows the average number of ethylene oxide units in the Tallowamine Ethoxylates molecule. For example, KETALO-15 means a Tallowamine molecule which is reacted with average fifteen molecules of ethylene oxide. Due to the amine group in these products, low-mole ethoxylates are cationic in nature; higher-mole ethoxylates exhibit typical nonionic characteristics such as cloud point and compatibility with anionic surfactants.
Tallowamine Ethoxylates are used in a wide variety of applications; They have been developed for use as emulsifer for a variety of pesticide formulations. they can be used alone or in combination with other surfactants. Tallowamine ethoxylates adsorb strongly to most metal, fiber and mineral surfaces, which makes them useful as corrosion inhibitors, softeners, anti-static agents and adhesion promoters.
