Esters Ethoxylates
Ester Ethoxylates are nonionic surfactants which are such as all kinds of other nonionic surfactants mixtures varying in the number of repeating ethoxy groups. The digit which is appeared after the name of KEST shows the average molecular weight of polyethylene glycol unit in the Ester Ethoxylates molecule. For example, KEST-308 means an ester molecule which has a polyethylene glycol unit with average molecular weight of 308.
Ester Ethoxylates are used in a wide variety of applications; they have been developed for use as solubilizers, refatting agents, emollients, emulsifiers and a moisturizers in many personal care and cosmetic formulations. Although Ester Ethoxylates in general are known to clean the skin and hair by helping water to mix with oil and dirt so that they can be rinsed away.
